My trip and experience with Avula was everything I imagined and heard about and then some. Every staff member was extremely friendly and helpful with anything and everything and made me feel like family. The food was amazing, lodging was first class, the hunting was exceptional. Best hunting trip of my life. I was the only bowhunter on the trip and the staff made sure I had the same opportunities at the plethora of animals on their vast ranches that we hunted. Five star food and accommodation, I don’t see how it could get any better in South Africa. I came to Africa wanting a kudu with my bow, I left Africa with 2 BIG kudu, 2 warthog, 1 MONSTER sable, and 1 gemsbok. Unreal experience! Would highly recommend booking with Avula.

I’m not even sure where to start. From the moment we drove up to the lodge we were in awe. We had heard about how nice it would be but never imagined it could be better in person. The wife and I feel like we have a new family! It was so great that we booked next years trip before we left as we can’t wait to share the experience and hospitality with our friends.

The whole team at Avula went out of their way to make their clients happy. They themselves did, they surrounded us with others that they trusted to accommodate us, and the entire 7 day hunt plus travel days were phenomenal. Wow. This is the first time we traveled to South Africa, with Avula, for a True Hunting experience. The place, staff, PH’s(guides), and agents are very friendly. Avula Safaris is a very well organized outfitter, from planning the trip, helping with all paperwork, (especially transporting firearms and airline transfers) to the hunt. Everyone is very friendly and they provided wonderful accommodation, together with wonderful tasting food. We would highly recommend experiencing Africa, with Avula. Having hunted throughout North America, South Africa, Namibia and Zimbabwe, Avula Safaris staff and accommodation rank on the top of my list.
