The taxidermist will then dip and pack your hides and capes for export to your destination or origin. Avula Safaris can assist with contact information should you require a quote for their services. Finally, there is the export and clearing of your trophies. Avula Safaris has worked with many importers, and our preferred taxidermy supplier can also assist you with handling your crate, trophies or souvenirs back home.
Meat Processing
ETHICAL HUNTING MEANS USING THE WHOLE ANIMAL
As ethical hunters, we respect the environment and wildlife. Ensuring nothing from a harvest goes to waste is the highest respect you can give. It is not just about the trophy. All the meat harvested at Avula Safaris gets utilised in some way that ends up feeding or sustaining much more than just Avula. The finest cuts are set aside and masterfully prepared to your exact liking by Avula’s chefs. Some of the meat goes to staff and their families, and some is processed and sold. However, the bulk of the harvest is donated to schools, feeding schemes and charities from surrounding local communities with whom we’ve developed relationships.
Once your trophies are received, our adept staff meticulously capes and preps them for collection. The taxidermist takes charge of the dip and pack process, ensuring the hides and capes are ready for export to your chosen destination or origin. For these services, Avula Safaris can provide contact details to facilitate the inquiry. The final step involves the export and clearing of your trophies.
Adventure true
Avula Safaris means Open Journey, and it’s more than a collection of private game reserves, it’s an authentic African hunting experience like no other.
It’s an invitation to get lost. To find yourself. To seek beyond the known, and hunt beyond the kill. Avula is more than a destination. It’s the start of a much greater journey, for the adventurer in you to adventure true.
