Accompanied by a veterinarian and a team of trained staff, she took part in collecting vital DNA samples and conducting health checks on the darted rhino. This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity allowed the entire family to witness conservation in action and provided a new appreciation for wildlife preservation efforts in South Africa.
The Thrill of the Hunt
Dad and the Harris sons were laser-focused on their hunting goals. They set out with a mission to harvest three buffalo during their stay. The hunt was filled with excitement and adrenaline, with each day presenting a new challenge.
The standout moment came when Carson, one of the Harris sons, opted for an extraordinary challenge – hunting a buffalo on foot with a bow and arrow. After hours of tracking, Carson made an impressive shot at just 18 yards, a feat requiring skill and patience. The thrill of this moment will be one the Harris family remembers for a lifetime.
