David’s long-awaited moment finally arrived as he fulfilled his five-year planning with PH Chris. Waiting in ambush, hearts pounding, adrenaline rushing – the perfect shot, and the bull slumped down on the spot. It was an extraordinary hunt, a phenomenal safari, and a dream come true for David.
But the adventure didn’t stop there. From the majestic 53” Sable to the elusive Bush Pig, Avula Safaris provided unforgettable moments at every turn. Night hunting brought its own thrills, with fruitful encounters and successful harvests under the cover of darkness.
He bought a 470 Nitro express, Krieghoff double rifle, specifically for his Africa trip. His dream was always to shoot a Cape Buffalo with a double rifle. He shot a magnificent 48” Buffalo on this trip.
